Healthcare deserts are everywhere. When a pharmacy closes, it doesn’t just leave an ugly abandoned building. It creates a healthcare desert that has a profound effect on the community - usually the communities that are most in need of health care support. We were recently recognized by Digital Health Hub as a Rising Star in the Health Equity category for our work in connecting patients and underserved communities to needed health services.
We are working to build a next generation healthcare ecosystem which doesn’t rely on a single innovation, but creates synergy between needed resources to enable dynamic, flexible, and patient-centric healthcare when and where patients need it.
We’ve launched a colon cancer screening and Hepatitis C at-home-testing program in the support of efforts like Cancer Moonshot the White House’s National Hepatitis C Elimination Initiative. We are working in partnership with influential community leaders and organizations, as well as grassroots public health groups, to directly support improved diagnosis and follow-up care in the communities where it is most needed.
In addition, we launched our H.E.A.R.T. Program which focuses on supporting patients with chronic conditions with holistic health beyond symptom management. This approach to healthcare emphasizes prevention, early intervention, and personalized treatment plans tailored to each participant’s unique needs. One of the initial aims of the program is to provide real-time, personalized support to achieve better blood pressure and cholesterol management for at-risk communities.
We continue to hire a diverse team of clinicians and have expanded our at-home lab testing capabilities to make care more accessible.
All of this is built upon our two foundational commitments:
We are continuing to innovate and collaborate across the healthcare ecosystem to find and close healthcare gaps however it can best be done for patients in their local communities. Our mission is to connect the dots to make a new healthcare experience possible for millions of Americans.
